Plan Your Visit

Where do you meet?

As of May 2023, we now meet at the Denton Senior Recreation Center, at 509 N Bell Ave, Denton, TX 76209.

Where do I park?

There are several parking lots in the area. Refer to the map for several options you can choose from. The building is outlined in blue, and the main parking lot is outlined in yellow.

What should I wear?

We’re pretty informal. Please feel free to come as you are, in whatever you’re comfortable wearing. Many people feel chilly in the building where we meet, so we’d recommend bringing at least a light jacket regardless of the season.

What are services like?

We meet on Sundays at 9:45 AM. We love to get there a little early and enjoy a cup of coffee while catching up together. We have free, freshly roasted coffee (by one of our resident coffee snobs) every week.

If you’re bringing children, you’re welcome to place them in the care of our children’s ministry during the service. You can also keep them with you if you’d prefer.

During a typical service, we’ll worship with music, listen to someone preach a sermon, share communion together via small cups of juice and homemade bread, and hear some announcements to know how to be involved. It’s not abnormal to see a different person preaching every week. Our paid staff are not the only people to get behind the microphone.

We like to hangout quite a bit after the service ends to catch up with our friends. Don’t be surprised if there isn’t a mass exit to the door as soon as service is over. Many of us like to go grab lunch after church, and we’d love for you to come with us!

Buddy System

Coming into a new church fellowship can be scary. We want to help with that. Fill out this form, and you’ll get a text from a current church member of the same gender who will sit with you on your first Sunday morning. They’ll probably introduce you to a chunk of new friends too (You might even grab lunch after church). It’s that easy.
